Our website is hosted by Framer. When you access our website, the hosting provider automatically collects server log files, including:

4. Vendor Application Form
Vendor applications are submitted via Tally.
4.1 Public Vendor Information
The form collects business-related and technical information such as:
Company name and website URL
Headquarters location and company size
Product/service descriptions, primary use cases, and logos
Technical data specifications (e.g., data categories, delivery methods, compliance standards, update frequencies)
These data are processed for the purpose of reviewing and, if approved, publishing the vendor profile in the Datavendors index. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures), and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a global vendor index). Approved vendor information may be publicly displayed on our website.
4.2 Internal Contact Information
We also collect the full name of an internal contact person, their email address, and optionally, links to internal affiliate or referral programs. This information is not published. It is processed exclusively for communication regarding the application, verification of submitted information, internal onboarding prioritization, and management of the vendor listing. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in managing vendor relationships). Tally acts as a data processor under Art. 28 GDPR. 5. Data Buyer Inquiries (Lead Generation)
Through our platform, users (data buyers) can request pricing, dataset specifications, or data samples from specific vendors via a dedicated inquiry form. In this context, we collect the following personal data:
First and Last Name
Work Email Address
Company Name
Specific Use Case / Data Requirements These data are processed strictly for the purpose of transmitting the user's inquiry to the specific vendor selected by the user. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (Consent). The user actively consents to the processing and transmission of their data to the specific vendor by checking the mandatory consent box before submitting the form. Data Transfer to Third Parties and Third Countries: The collected data is transmitted directly to the respective data vendor. Vendors listed on our platform operate globally. Consequently, data may be transferred to vendors located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including jurisdictions that may not provide a level of data protection equivalent to the GDPR. By explicitly consenting via the form's checkbox, the user agrees to this specific data transfer (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR). Datavendors acts solely as an intermediary to facilitate this initial contact. Upon receipt of the lead, the respective vendor acts as an independent data controller for any further processing of the provided data.

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your data to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract-related communication) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).
